Daughter of Mohammad Reza Shajarian, the great maestro of Persian traditional music. She has received her musical education from her father and other great singers like Hossein Alizadeh, but she also has university education in music.
She performed extensively in major international festivals and prestigious concert halls in Europe, North America, Australia with the acclaimed Iranian master musician (her father), Maestro Mohammad Reza Shajarian.
Mojgan immigrated to the US in 2012 and currently lives in Southern California where she performs and teaches Persian classical singing (Awaz) and Setar.
